Theory Test
Theory Test Information
The Theory Test is made up of 2 sections:
- Multiple Choice
At first you will be presented with 50 questions with multiple answers, in order to pass this section you must answer 43/50 of the questions correctly to pass. The questions are all based on information from the Highway Code Book.
- Hazard Perception
The second section of the test will be a series of videos, where you must spot and identify potential hazards, the earlier you spot the hazards the better the score you get. You must get 44+/75 in order to pass the final section of the Theory test.
The test lasts for about 60 minutes and costs £30. In order to take the test you will need to have a valid provisional driving licence. On successful completion of the test you will be posted out your test certificate.
